Tree Limb Drop-Off on Saturday, March 6

The Block House MUD has scheduled a tree limb drop-off event on Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jumano Park, 3101 Black Kettle for residents only to drop off tree limbs and broken branches that were damaged in the recent winter storm.

This event will be for tree limbs only and no dumpsters will be on site for bulk trash. You will be required to provide proof of residency (driver’s license and a recent Crossroads utility bill) and deputies will be on hand to check your identification.

In the meantime, the Texas Disposal Service offers curbside pickup of yard waste on your regularly scheduled trash day and will be ensuring that additional bags and bundles are picked up.  Residents may place four (4) additional bundles of yard waste next to your trash cart in bundles of 4 feet in length and 4” in diameter.

Thanks for your patience as we all work through the damage caused by the storm. All limbs that are dropped off will be mulched and used in the District. The kindness and resiliency that Block House residents have shown to each other over the last week has been phenomenal and we will work through this together.
