What to do with fallen tree limbs and/or trees?

This artic weather event has caused an abundance of fallen tree limbs and trees. At this time, the Block House MUD is working on a plan for its residents only to provide options for disposal; and need a few days to coordinate this effort so that we can safely clear the storm debris in an efficient manner.   Detailed instructions and updates will be provided as soon as they are available via the MUD’s website and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).

  • If you have downed trees/limbs, please do not place trees or limbs from your private property to the curb or near your trash and recycle cart. This could cause a delay in trash and recycling service pick up as trucks need to be able to get to your trash carts.
  • If a tree or limb is blocking a street, please email a request to Williamson County Road and Bridge for assistance at roadrequest@wilco.org or call 512-943-3330.
  • Currently, the MUD’s Landscaping Company is working to dispose of limbs and storm debris from the parks and rights-of-way along Block House Drive and Creek Run.
  • Texas Disposal Services (TDS) will accept four (4) additional bags or bundles placed next to your trash can for pick up each week.  Any bundled limbs must be cut to TDS specifications before placing next to your trash cart for pick up on your trash day only.  Brush waste must have loose items secured. This means branches and limbs are cut to less than 4 feet in length and no more than 4 inches in diameter; and are tied together with string. See the example below for properly bundled brush. For additional information, contact TDS Customer Care at 800-375-8375 or customercare@texasdisposal.com.
