MUD Board Member Vacancy

The MUD Board of Directors are seeking written statements of interest until Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from residents who qualify to fill a vacancy for a two-year unexpired board member term created during the recent election.
The MUD is a political subdivision operating pursuant to Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Codes and must abide by all federal, state and county laws and directives including rules and guidelines set forth by the state of Texas for the open meetings act. MUD Board of Directors are responsible for decision-making, setting tax rates, reviewing the budget, setting policy and the operations and maintenance for the MUD; and must be available to meet at least once a month. Additional meetings may be required, as needed.  
If you are interested in serving on the MUD Board of Directors, please email your submission to Jacquelyn Smith, General Manager at on or before 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020. The submission should include a personal bio/resume and why you want to be considered for this position and personal references.
